Physical Look– Fitbit Blaze before it was released, it is one of the most hyped fitness smartwatch, rumors says it’s packed with features and with a more stylish look. When the watch was out, it is packed with features sort of, and on the stylish section we don’t think so. The watch do have the most unique design and applied a different approach in smartwatch design. The watch technology is enclosed to a polycarbonate rectangle box, and you can attach it to a steel frame connected to a strap band.

We are not a fan of this design, popping out the smartwatch to its frame is like a 90’s design, and you are required to do this every time you will charge your fitness watch which is so vintage. It’s a good thing that the watch does have a 5 day battery life, no need removed the tracker every time you have to charge your watch. The screen is a touch screen interface, its responsive and fast, the large bezel in the world of bezelless devices looks odd and did not help in the overall aesthetic of the watch either, far from the designs of Fitbit smartbands which made if very successful.

Under the Hood – the watch might not score high in aesthetic section, but in fitness features it scores good. It tracks steps with calorie counter, the heart rate monitor that provide good HR, it’s pretty accurate compared to other fitness brand with heart rate monitor, but of course it’s not right all the time, nevertheless  it has a good HRM. The smartwatch also do have a range of fitness features such as cycling, running and weights. If you are into cycling, or running outside just make it sure that you do have a smartphone with you as the watch don’t have a built in GPPS and still have to rely on your phones GPS.

OverAll – although we don’t like the design of it, it pretty does the job of tracking your stats, the fitness features are good, the trackers are reliable including the heart rate monitor, a long battery life, of up to 5 days, with 3 days minimum if you are busy in using it to track your activities. Great app software with wide range of stats on the smartphone apps with support for both iOS and Android.
