Design – finally after months of waiting, No.1 releases an upgrade of the popular G3 smartwatch. The No.1 G3 if you are not familiar is the first smartwatch that is physically look like the Samsung Gear S2, its UI, its physical look is almost similar to Gear S2 except to its bezel, No.1 wasn’t able to make it as a rotating bezel. Well this time No.1 finally added a rotating bezel to the No.1 G3+ mode, yes it has one that is pretty similar to the Gear S2 or S3.
Still looking like the G3, the smartwatch has a 1.3” inch screen, a 240 x 240 pixel resolution. It look sleek and sport with its stainless steel body and its TPU strap with stainless steel buckle.
If we are going to take a look at the body size, they only have few minor differences, with the G3+ having a much thinner body ( see specs below). The No.1 G3+ smartwatch is available in light silver and deep gun black with different watch faces preloaded already in the G3+.
Under the Hood – the smartwatch is powered by MTK2502 processor similar to the G3, still has the same screen IPS LCD and resolution, 240 x 240 pixel. Unlike the G3, the G3+ doesn’t support a SIM card or TF card. I guess the G3+ works more as a companion for smartphone instead of an independent smartwatch.
Well for the features of No.1 G3+, the most obvious and the bestselling feature of the G3+ is the rotating bezel, based on the video you can rotate the bezel and use it to select on the menus, you can also rotate it to adjust the volume and listen to the music.
Additional features include pedometer, sleep monitoring, sedentary reminder, intelligent alarm and message notifications. No.1 G3+ also has the latest pixArt second generation heart rate monitor 8002 chip that according to No.1, it provides 200% precision calculation of the heart rate. With 230 mAh lithium Polymer battery we expect that is will provide 2-3 days of battery life.
Note: Some of the specs of the No.1G3+ is missing as the company did not yet provide a full details of the watch, we will update the specs sheet, when there is an available data.
