Design – the No.1 got a new smartwatch in its arsenal, a wearable with stainless steel body and an interchangeable leather strap. Introducing the No.1 S9, it has some similarities with the popular No.1 G6 when it comes to looks, but with No.1 S9 having a much better solid design with its gear bezel, it is somewhat a mix of sport and classic design, the leather strap adds more beauty to the overall design of the smartwatch. Based on the video, the No.1 S9 has interchangeable strap and No.1 offers several strap that ranges from leather, stainless steel strap.
The overall design has two physical protruding buttons that works as a home button and return button, and a USB port on the side for charging. Underneath is a second generation heart rate monitor with similar appearance on the bottom with that of No.1 G6 smartwatch.
Under the Hood – the wearable is powered by MediaTek 2502 processor, for the memory, based on the specs pages it is about 512 MB. Just like the G6, the No.1 S9 supports message and call notifications, push notifications from social apps such as Skype, Twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp. You can also use the smartwatch as a remote control for your music or your smartphone camera. Health features include a pedometer and a 2nd generation heart rate monitor. But I think the selling feature for the No.1 S9 smartwatch is the NFC support which is not present to other budget friendly smartwatch by No.1. The wearable according to its specs details is compatible with iOS and Android platform and will be available in black and silvery type color.
Overall, the No.1 S9 could be another big hit for No.1, just like the G6 that is very affordable. The No.1 S9 might also be in that price range, but this time with more features and of course NFC support. See the overall specifications below of the No.1 S9 smartwatch.
