Moto Saying Goodbye to Smartwatches for now

It is not a good news for smartwatch market, especially for the fans of Moto 360 and the struggling Android Wear O.S. Moto without denying or providing a bit of hope to its fans confirmed the disappointing news, Moto will not join in releasing a new smartwatch for the launch of the new version of Android Wear, the Android Wear 2.0.

We thought that they just pushed back the release of the new wearable for the Android Wear 2.0, but we were wrong. According to the company there is not enough market for smartwatches, citing that there is not much improvement on the technology, but it says that it might revisit again the world of wearable when the time is right, but they don’t see it yet next year.

So far Moto was able to release several smartwatches since 2014, but ended its product line up with the 2nd generation Moto 360 and Moto 360 sport version. This move by Moto is a big blow for Android Wear, as it loses its one of the top partners for Android Wear. Samsung is already out, and now Moto, Huawei is going in that direction also, well there is huge possibility that Google will debut Android Wear 2.0 with its own product line up for wearables. Is it the beginning of the end of Android Wear O.S?
