Amazfit Ares Smartwatch Coming May 19, 2020
Remember that we wrote an article about the Amazfit Ares, we said that this is the next smartwatch by Huami Amazfit and of course it is coming soon, much earlier than we expected. According to HUAMI the confirmed date is on May 19, 2020.
Checking out the smartwatch, it has a different design compared to other wearables by Amazfit. The device is like a rectangular/Octagonal version of the Amazfit T-Rex smartwatch. The smartwatch is a rugged device with several sport and fitness features. Based on its preliminary specifications that we able to gather, the smartwatch has 1.28” inch AMOLED display protected by a Corning Gorilla glass screen.
Available in black and khaki green colors, the smartwatch has an IP68 waterproof rating. Based on the look of the device, the design will surely be going to be a big hit. Especially for those who would love to have a fitness tracker that is a bit small and light. If you got the Amazfit T-Rex, you will surely appreciate the design of the Amazfit Ares.
When it comes to features, the smartwatch has 70 sport modes to choose from with FirstBeat technology. Vo2Max and variety of health and fitness functions. So far, we only have very few information regarding its specifications, but expect that we will have more details on its features and specs as the unveiling date gets closer.
