How to Connect/Sync Strava to Xiaomi Smartband 9 Mi Fitness App
Just like its predecessor, the Xiaomi Smartband 9 Global version has an option to sync, connect its Mi Fitness app data to Strava account. If you have a Strava account, and you want to synchronize your data from Mi Fitness to Strava app we have here a step by step process on how to connect or sync ro Mi fitness data to Strava.
Please take note that your fitness tracker should be Xiaomi Smartband 9 Global version, and not the Chinese version. There is no option to synchronize to Strava with the Chinese version.

Before you connect your synchronize the Mi Fitness with the popular sports app. It is much better if you create an account first if you still don’t have a new account. If you already have an account, connecting is much easy, and you can avoid any issues with the synchronization. If you are subscribe to Strava, then much better but it is not a requirement.
Downloading Strava to your Android Smartphone
If you don’t have a Strava account follow the steps below on downloading and creating your new account.
- Search Google Play Store “Strava”
- Tap on to Download Strava, it will automatically install once the downloading is completed
- Open the Strava app, you have an option to Register or Login. You can signup using your email or use third party account such as Facebook or Twitter.
- Strava will also asked you after you signup to make a subscription, trial or monthly/yearly subscription. But this is optional.
Connecting Strava to Mi Fitness App on Android
- On your Mi Fitness App Dashboard, Select the Profile tab
- Tap on Settings and then select Third Party Data.
- If you have successfully installed the Strava App, it will appear on the account.
- Tap Connect button to initialized connectivity between the two app
It will load the Strava website, go back your app, and now Tap on Authorize to enable the connection.
To forget to synchronize your Mi Fitness data to cloud to be able to send the data to Strava. You can do this by going to ‘Settings” tap on “Sync to the Cloud”.
