[Tutorial] How to Add Custom Wallpaper to Smartwatch
Wallpaper on a smartwatch is one of the top features right now in smartwatches. A personalization feature that smartwatch fans are looking for. Although it is a popular feature, only few wearables for 2025 do have this functionality.
Regarding wallpaper, there are a lot of tutorial on how to add a custom wallpaper to smartwatch, but if you are going to check it, the tutorial is more of a tutorial for custom watch faces, instead of a real smartwatch wallpaper.
Below we have a proper tutorial on how to add or download a true custom wallpaper to smartwatch. Check out the details below.
What you need:
DT Ultra X or DT Watch 10, the latest DT Ultra 3 Pro smartwatch is also equipped with this functionality.
Steps on How to Add Custom Watch Face to Smartwatch
Note: This tutorial is using DT Ultra 3 Pro, it is also available for DT Ultra 10 smartwatch. These smartwatches is using the WearPro Application that is available in Android, and iOS platform.
1. Open the Wear Pro Application on your Android smartphone.
2. Select “Transfer Images”meme
3. Tap the Plus sign (+) to add photos, a pop-up notification will appear if you want to use the camera to capture a new photo or select the photo in the “Album”.
4.Select the desired photo then, tap on “Sync to Watch”. If the connection is OK, the smartwatch will switch to download mode. It will show a “syncing” status. A “Transfer is Complete” will show if the download is successful.
5. To check the images on your smartwatch, go to “Photo” menu, and if transfer is successful you will see the list of images transferred to your smartwatch.
6. To apply the image as a wallpaper, tap on the photo. Select the apply icon symbol on the bottom right part of the screen.
7. There are two options, set as a Watch Face or as a Wallpaper. Select “Wallpaper”. Once selected it will automatically apply the photo as a background for your menus of your smartwatch.
As you can see, downloading, and applying wallpaper to your smartwatch is easy. The support app for the wearable is available on iOS and Android.
