Yes, you can activate the workout feature, select any sports and at the same time control the music on your phone with the Bluetooth music control function of the smartwatch.
Is there an Always on Display feature in the smartband 9?
Yes, there is support for Always on Display, options are Scheduled, Smart, and OFF options. Please take note that you cannot select your own always on display watch face. I think it is already preset by Xiaomi.

Yes, this new wearable from Xiaomi is 5 ATM waterproof rated. You can wear it while washing your hands, taking a shower or swimming (shallow waters). But according to Xiaomi, it is not suitable for wearing in hot showers, saunas, or while diving.
